Job description: At Johnson Controls in Norway, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our Industrial Refrigeration (IR) division as an Operation Manager!In Johnson Controls we are specialized in sale, design, and delivery of tailored refrigeration -and heat pump systems for industrial applications, commercial buildings, and energy centers across the globe.As operation manager we offer a unique opportunity to lead a diverse team driving Industrial refrigeration and heat pump project as well as installation operations across Norway. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the execution of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to standardized project management procedures. As Operations Manager, you will also be a member of the Leadership Group in Norway, collaborating across various business divisions. This position reports to our Installations Director for Industrial Refrigeration in North-West Europe.Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of 8-10 engineers and technicians, fostering an inclusive work environment
• Project Management: Oversee planning and execution of installation projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing installation-related issues effectively
• Quality Control and Compliance: Establish quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Financial Performance: Manage installation operations’ financial performance, including full P&L responsibility
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance process efficiency and promote a culture of improvement
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on operations, project progress, and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement

What we look for:The role as Operations Manager includes full P&L responsibility, which requires a financially strong candidate who can balance high quality, customer satisfaction, and safety (EHS) against financial targets.We are looking for a candidate that:

• Possess a strong personal drive and uphold elevated standards for both yourself and your team
• Excel at fostering close relationships with employees, clients, advisors, and partners
• Has a technical background in refrigeration technology/Energy sector that equips you to serve as a valuable resource for both employees and clients, ensuring the highest standards of quality within the field
• Has a proven track record of driving results and achieving business objectives through strategic thinking and problem-solving.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Norwegian
• Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and financial performance
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and best practices concerning industrial refrigeration installation.
• Willingness to travel as required to oversee operations across different countries
