Title: Great Wireless Thermometer with App Monitoring
Review: This wireless meat thermometer works great and makes grilling or cooking much easier. The probe stays in the meat while it cooks, and the thermometer connects to your phone through WiFi or Bluetooth so you can monitor the temperature from the app.The app is very convenient because it shows the real time temperature and can alert you when the meat reaches the target temperature.Overall, it’s a great tool as t removes the guesswork and helps make sure meat comes out perfectly cooked every time.

Title: Great product, not so great customer service
Review: This is a great product! I got this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He is very particular about the temperature of his meats. I do want to preface this by saying the first unit we received, there was one probe that would not stay connected to Bluetooth. My husband waited a few days after Christmas to reach out to Chef iQ’s customer service, because he figured they would get a lot of calls right after the holiday. He eventually received a case number, but to this day still has not heard from Chef iQ. So I reached out to Amazon. Since it was within the return period, they sent me a new unit while I returned the defective one. So, kudos to Amazon customer service! As for the new unit, all probes work and my husband cooked steaks to perfection using the probes. Different levels of temperature (I like mine medium plus, he likes his medium rare) and both were perfect! The unit tells you when to flip the meat and when to remove it to rest. Title: Excellent accuracy, ease of use, and customer service
Review: I have the 3-probe unit, and there's always one or two probes in the dishwasher. I've figured out to place the hub somewhat near my grill during use so the probe can communicate with it. With the multiple sensors on each probe, I can tell if I've screwed up on the charcoal or forgotten to open a vent.The app is really easy to use: you select what you're grilling and it takes you through each step, giving time estimates for each waypoint. If I'm using two probes, it's nice that it tells me which probe to flip the food.One of my probes gave a temperature alarm and shut down, disconnected. It wouldn't reconnect even after it had cooled for a day. I contacted CHEF IQ customer service, expecting a hassle to get the probe replaced, but instead was given a list of diagnostic steps to recover the probe. What worked: I set the probe aside (outside of the hub) for four days to fully drain its charge, then put it back into the hub. It reconnected! Back in use, thanks customer service.

Title: RANT! Avoid this product. Cloud account required!
Review: At this point, I don't care how good the wireless thermometer functions. I purchased what I thought was going to be a simple Bluetooth wireless thermometer and a simple app, and nothing more. NOPE!YOU MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH THE COMPANY! This is not negotiable. The damn thing doesn't work until you create the account. ONLY THEN can you use the app to sync it the docking station. No thermometer should need an account in the cloud. This company shouldn't need ANYTHING from me. Not my information, not my email, nothing! But Nooooooo!!! In their zeal to harvest your information, undoubtedly for their own benefit, they neglect to disclose that you must create this account before you purchase the product!On top of that, the "docking station" desperately wants to connect to the WIFI! "Are you sure you don't want to connect to the WiFi? Features won't be available to you". Are you frigging kidding me?! WHY does a thermometer need access to WiFi? Oh I know why. So it can call home and use your Internet connection for free to send all sorts of data back to the mothership. I'll bet you good money that the "docking station" has some sort of hidden firmware in it that will allow them to "brick" my thermometer at a moment's notice when they decide they want to."CEO: Profits are down! What are we going to do?""Product Guy: Well, we could just make it a mandatory subscription to use the thermometers and generate monthly recurring revenue.""CEO: Excellent! Push a firmware so that they require a subscription going forward. That will rake in the profits for sure!"Its not like a CEO has ever done that before .... right? Yeah, keep thinking that. Hell, the damned dock probably has a microphone in it as well. Just so they can institute their new future AI-powered thermometers! Who knows. But no, I refuse to connect this thing to the WiFi. It's a damned bloody thermometer for God's sake! It shouldn't be anything else, and sure as hell doesn't need to connect to WiFi to work!I'm getting sick and tired of everything that is purchased, requiring a cloud account and access to WiFi before I'm allowed to use it, when it doesn't need any of those things. And that should be disclosed UP FRONT! Not after the fact! This IOT crap has gotten out of hand! Just make a bloody Bluetooth thermometer and a simple app and be done! Jeez!I strongly suggest steering clear of this device and this company. Regardless of the promises they make now, it is only a matter of time before they start demanding a monthly subscription fee to use something you already own! CEOs change. Companies are bought out. It's only a matter of time! I think I'll just go back to a regular thermometer probe with the wire that comes out and plugs into an LED Display that only gives me the Temp .... like a Caveman!

Review: Secian soportar 1200 F es decir 644 c aproximadamente, pero estuvieron en el horno con unas galletas a menos de 200 c y ya no reacciona 3 de mis 4 probes. Espero que cumplan con la garantía que de por si dan, además de que pagué una garantía adicional.
