I primarily handle lawn care, but also do bush and tree trimming.The hedge trimmers are a game-changer. They're exceptionally sharp and effortlessly cut through larger branches, a significant advantage over standard trimmers.The battery life is truly phenomenal, providing hours of continuous use on a single charge.As for the pole saw, also an exceptional tool, though I have a suggestion for improvement. With the extension attached, it becomes quite top-heavy. A counterweight at the base would dramatically improve balance and make extended use more comfortable. This isn't a flaw, but a recommendation for future design.The only slight drawback is the initial weight of both tools, which requires some adjustment. However, the performance and battery life more than compensate.I'm a loyal Greenworks customer – all of my tools are Greenworks, with the exception of my gas-powered lawn tractor (which I'd replace with a Greenworks’ battery model if budget allowed!).The four-year warranty is a testament to Greenworks' confidence in their products, and I share that confidence.Thank you, Greenworks, for consistently delivering high-quality tools. My property is all redwoods and Madrone. Redwood is soft and easy to cut. Madrone is a hard wood. This little battery chain saw did great. The only thing to be careful of is that the chain saw grips tight onto the branch. You have to practice to get used to the technique but the saw does a great job. I was also impressed how much I cut on one battery charge. Last year, I bought an air blower from this company and it works great too. I have not used the hedge trimmer yet but I can tell you that an electric hedge trimmer cord will always be in the way. I highly recommend this tool and company. Review: I haven't had this saw long, but it has already paid for itself. Using it I was able to cut off four low hanging limbs, including one that was six inches thick and 25 ft. long. It does have some down side, being light weight it has a tendency to bounce on you. I almost got through one branch three times before it finally came down. Also, if you have to reach up to a branch, which is why I had to buy a pole saw, then chips will fly into you and it will bounce more, and bind up with the limb often. You must learn to use the tip of the blade and keep it from binding up. For the money, this is a great product and I would buy it again, but you must work within it's limitations. However if you have a short body like me, you will find the tool a little heavy. It gets heavier when you add the extension. It is very helpful when you have to reach higher to give a good trim on the branches.
