The sharpening lever was not functioning and that piece continued to catch the Blade and keep it from spinning. I tried to get a new device and chose the option of replacing with the same item when i returned it but it has been almost 2 weeks with no update and no replacement and no response from Hoto customer service. So sadly i am still swimming in cardboard boxes with no electric scissors. Will update my review if they ever send me a functioning replacement pair.
