The main purpose of this purchase was to have an electric screwdriver that can perform some small torque capabilities and it has plenty of power for those tasks. This does a great job, up to 10lbs, and with a dial for power and buttons for foward or reverse makes it easy to use (quickly without having to go through settings). It is well made, the case too, and the bits stay in place with the magnet. The case, with the tool, is heavy indicating their combined build quality. It's a cylinder, so that could cause some odd storage limits but it's nice to have the tool and bits in one place. I have several current electric screwdrivers and others from the past. This is 1a or 1b depending on the need. I've recommended this to several people and will continue to do so. Reviewer: Robert L. The 0.5 N-m setting is perfect for these screws which tear out threads if driven with excess torque. The 0.5 N-m is working perfectly. I tried two other drivers rated for 0.35 and 0.75 N-m and both were under powered for the screws I'm using. This driver just works. Torque limit kicks in on the 0.5 N-m setting preventing case damage.My current project has 300 screws total - 25 case sets with 12 screws each. My hands have had a lot of use over the years and the assembly task was doing damage to my hands. Finally got smart and ordered an electric screwdriver. Actually, two - neither of which really worked for me. This one is a keeper. I love the multiple torque settings and two-speed trigger.I also needed a 4 mm to 1/4" adapter for my precision bits with 4 mm shafts. You may need to order an adapter along with this 1/4" driver. It comes encased in a tube that separates into three parts, the base, middle and top. Each one contains a set of magnetic heads that sit in a circle around the outside of the screwdriver. Each bit is snug when it's seated inside the ring and won't come spilling out should one of the rings tips over during use. The power of this unit is amazing. I could feel the torque when I pressed the power button. The top of the unit has the power switch and torque settings which can be selected by turning the ring, nothing complicated. This is suited for stuff like furniture assembly, electronics, gunsmithing perhaps. Any task that requires a screwdriver except engine repair and that type of stuff. I feel like this was a good value for the money I spent. I'm replacing one of those thin electric screwdrivers that are $70 and have no torque to them whatsoever. Always need to keep them charged and ended up not working half the time so I've been looking around and found this and am happy with it so far.
