I haven't stripped any screw threads yet. The battery lockout feature is nice especially if it's bumping around in a tool box. It feels good and the switch works good too. The battery indicator LEDs work good too. The adjustable angle on the end works good too. Watching it turn through the clear windows is a neat function too. It works better than the Ryobi screwdriver it replaced. The torque is good without having too much torque for lighter work. It looks nice and feels of really good quality. Review: bought this to assemble a big exercise wheel for my kitty. it saved the project and my hands (arthritis). it has good weight and is easy to hold, rubber casing did not slip through my hands. simple forward/backward power switch. excellent storage box with all drill bits clearly displayed. good instruction booklet. simple to charge and it held power well throughout the project. so nimble and easy to move the drill around here to there and all around and back again without a lot of awkward wrist angles. light at the front is a nice touch. so quiet it did not alarm my kitty who sat alongside the entire project. exactly what I bought it for - a slim little workhorse to make home projects easier. this would be a handsome gift for a good friend. highly recommended. Swivel from straight to angled and back is smooth and easy to accomplish.- the bright green "battery level" lights will make it easy to see when the device needs charging- the small light that goes on when you activate the rotation is very helpfulNEUTRAL- it's heavier than I thought it would be. That probably means the battery is substantial and a charge will last for a while, but if I were using it constantly, it might be a little too heavy for comfort.CONS- there are only 2 bits, one Flathead and one Phillips. I would have liked reversible bits, so that you have bigger and smaller options for both and could easily change the size- there is no storage for the unused bit so it will be easy to lose- the packaging is TERRIBLY HARD to open. It hurt my hands to use shears to cut and tear it and I almost couldn't get it open enough to remove the bits. The three torque settings is more of a gimmick. The pivoting I feel gets more in the way and becomes more of an obstacle when needing to reach in weird spots. I usually end up just getting a pivot bit adapter instead. I much rather instead would recommend the other electric driver from skill the one that has the voltage detector built into it, now if that one had the usbc charging that this one has then I’d easily buy two.
